Reception Admissions - 2026-2027
Families with a child who was born between 01/09/2021 - 31/08/2022 and will reach four years old between 1st September 2025 and 31st August 2026 are invited to apply for a Reception place for admission in September 2026.

| Thursday 16th April 2026 | The local authority will email parents offering a place |
| Thursday 23rd April 2026 | Parents must accept or decline a place by this date |
How to Apply
You must apply for a Reception place directly with the local authority.
Reception Admissions Hertfordshire Application Form
- If you wish your child to be ranked under a faith criterion in case we receive more applications than places and must apply our over-subscription criteria (listed in our Admissions Policy), you will need to complete the Supplementary Information Form (SIF).
- Supplementary Information Form (SIF) 2026-27
- Return your application form and any supporting documentation to Mrs K. Purvey, Office Manager, St Alban & St Stephen Catholic Primary School & Nursery, Vanda Crescent, St Albans, AL15EX at St Alban & St Stephen Catholic Primary School or email to admin@ssas.herts.sch.uk, by Friday 20th February 2026.
Reception Admissions - 2027-2028
Families with a child who was born between 01/09/2022 - 31/08/2023 and will reach four years old between 1st September 2026 and 31st August 2027 will be able to apply for a Reception place for admission in September 2027. The application process will open in Autumn 2026.
