What a wonderful, sun-soaked week we have had here at school! With the temperatures rising, we made sure to keep cool with plenty of exciting outdoor water play. The highlight of the week was definitely turning on the sprinklers. Early Years was filled with pure joy and non-stop laughter as the children loved running through the cool mist, splashing with their friends, and making the most of the beautiful weather.
Back in the classroom, our hearts and minds were just as active. We continued our journey through the beautiful stories of Jesus, focusing this week on the early church and the story of Philip and the Ethiopian.
To bring this lesson to life, we explored the rich history of Christian art and created our very own Ethiopian icons. Using bright colours and traditional patterns, the children worked with incredible focus to design beautiful, reflective pieces of art.
We are so proud of how well everyone shared, created, and played together this week. Have a wonderful, restful weekend, and stay hydrated!
