What a busy and exciting week we have had in Year 3! The grown ups were incredibly proud of how the children behaved during the Curriculum Assembly. The children displayed great confidence and maturity at carrying off such a wonderful assembly for older children in KS2, as well as parents. We displayed our learning about climate and weather, as well as understanding the different climate zones around the world. We then went on to talk about Climate Change and explained the small changes we can make every day to help “turn the tide”. Amazing!
However, it wasn’t all about our assembly this week. We have been learning about the Ascension where we considered how it must have felt to see Jesus join his father in Heaven while we are left behind. We have continued our work, in English, on our new book, “The Bear and The Piano”. In Science, we have started to learn about plants and more specifically, the parts of a flower. In Maths, we had great fun learning a new game. It is called “The Remainder Game”. We won sweets for every time our calculation came out with a remainder. We all had lots of fun!
Fantastic learning this week – well done!
