As we approach the end of a busy term, it has been heart-warming and encouraging to see the progress made by our children. Once again, they have handled a packed week with enthusiasm and resilience.
This week, the children have enjoyed exploring various aspects of English as they planned their own versions of Rapunzel. In Maths, they have been learning how to tell the time on an analogue clock, a challenging but rewarding skill that they have tackled with great determination.
In RE, we have explored the important aspects of Lent – a time of reflection and appreciation for all. In Catholic Social Teaching we discussed the significance of kindness and dignity in our everyday interactions. Despite such a full timetable, the children have also managed to squeeze in phonics, music, PE, and handwriting, showing their dedication to all areas of their learning.
A real highlight of the past week was our trip to the Upper School to explore the Stations of the Cross. Our Year Twos listened respectfully as the Year Six Chaplaincy team guided them beautifully through each station, helping them reflect on the meaning of this special journey. It was truly a moving and memorable experience for all. A big thank you to Mr. Hegarty and his Chaplaincy team for organising this wonderful opportunity for our children. We are so proud of how well Year Two engaged with this experience.
