hat a fantastic and busy first week back we’ve had! The children returned full of enthusiasm, ready to dive into exciting activities.
We kicked off with an enjoyable Year Two Parade, where the children proudly showcased their beautifully Asian animal masks. Their creativity shone, and it was a joy to see them celebrate their artistic talents.
A special highlight was a visit from an author, who had everyone laughing and engaged. It was lovely to see their love for storytelling grow as they listened to an expert bring words to life.
We also took part in a meaningful World Day of Prayer assembly, reflecting on faith, kindness, and hope. The children wrote prayers with Pope Francis in mind, linking them into a Chain of Hope to symbolize unity. They also created heartfelt messages on leaf cutouts for our Tree of Hope, a beautiful reminder of their reflections.
With a heavy heart, we say goodbye (for now) to Mrs. Rose as she prepares for her baby’s arrival. We welcome Mr. Carr, who will be teaching our Cherry Class in her absence.
It’s been an enriching start to the half term, and we are so proud of the children’s enthusiasm and participation. We look forward to another exciting week ahead!
