It’s been a busy start to the new half-term with a week filled with lots of learning and fun activities across all subjects.
In reading and writing, we’ve been focusing on developing our skills and building our confidence. Whether it’s reading exciting new books or crafting our own stories, we’ve enjoyed every moment of it!
In maths, we’ve been diving into new concepts and solving problems together, building on what we’ve already learned and exploring new challenges.
In history, we learnt all about Guy Fawkes and the events surrounding the Gunpowder Plot. We discovered what happened on that fateful night in 1605 and discussed its impact on history.
In science, we explored the properties of different materials and how they are used in our everyday lives and in RE lessons we explored the value and importance of baptismal signs and symbols.
Our PE lessons were filled with energy as we played various ball games. Not only did we work on our skills, but we also learned about the challenges of being a referee and the importance of following the rules to keep the game fair for everyone. It was a great reminder of how sportsmanship and teamwork are key to enjoying any game!
Overall, it’s been a wonderful week, full of learning, fun, and spending time with friends. We’re looking forward to more adventures in the weeks ahead!
