Year 6 have had a very productive first week back after Easter.
We have begun reading The Explorer by Katherine Rundell and have enjoyed thinking about the characters’ reactions to crash landing in the jungle.
In maths we have been looking at ratio – perfect for doing some cooking at home!
We have continued to learn about micro-organisms in science, learning about viruses and the importance of vaccines through the work of Edward Jenner.
Our geography topic is Natural Disasters, so we found out about the tectonic plates and how they move.
The children have come back enthusiastic and excited for their last term with us – let’s make it a good one!
