Happy St Patrick’s Day!
Year 6 have had an exciting Science and Technology Week. They have been fortunate to have heard presentations from parents and visitors.
This Wednesday, the children had an exciting science assembly presented by ‘Dougie Dug Dug’ who wowed the children with some practical experiments, one involving dry ice at -79 degrees.
On Thursday, Mr Pratt and Mrs Richards spoke about the large and complex team of engineers that work to ensure the Formula 1 vehicles are both aerodynamic and safe.
Today, Mrs Archer gave an interesting and informative presentation about her work as an data analyst. She showed us how data can be ‘cleaned’ and clearly presented in order to help companies such as football managers or shop owners, make decisions.
Additionally, another parent, Mr Adegbola spoke about his role as a surgeon and the technology of robotics in assisting with intricate medical procedures.
Have a lovely weekend!
