This week the children in Year 6 have been sitting their mock SATs. We have been hugely impressed by their determination – a school value. Each day the children have come in quietly and settled down very quickly. We have tried out different rooms and spaces for the children to work according to their own individual needs which has gone very well.
Thankfully, it has not been all mock exams! One afternoon, we had Mrs Perez come to talk to us about Medical Research. The children listened carefully and had some interesting questions – some of which we follow up with an ethical debate in class! We have also enjoyed the sunshine by playing our first game of Rounders for the year and we continue to work on our Codebreaking unit in Computing.
Next week, we look forward to catching up with the Y6 parents at the consultation meetings.
