Wicked Theatre Trip
Year 6 had a fantastic time visiting the Apollo Victoria Theatre in London to see the spectacular production Wicked. Mrs Flatt secured us amazing seats in the stalls, and we enjoyed nearly 3 hours of inspirational singing, dancing and stage management. The children were brilliantly behaved, with even a member of the public thanking children for their manners! The production has inspired the children for their own production of A Wizard of Oz.
A Wizard of Oz auditions
On Friday afternoon, anyone who wanted to auditioned for parts in our Year 6 production. Staff are still in the process of assigning parts, which we aim to do before the Half Term holiday, but we were all unanimous in our admiration of those who auditioned, and sincerely impressed by the quality of performances. We’re all looking forward to beginning rehearsals and seeing the talent on stage!
