This week in PE, Year 6 learned to dance the Lindy Hop. They were introduced to some different types of swing dances and created a dance sequence with a partner. They had a chance to evaluate each others performances assessing what authentic Lindy Hop steps they used, whether they had performed movements in unison and what innovations they had included, either as a pair or individually in breakaway sections.
In Science, we started our new topic of Light and explored how light travels. The children considered where the light coming out of the torch went and how its path was effected by different obstacles.
