This week, Year 4 have been building catapults, linked to our History Topic, Roman Britain. Previously, they had created their own designs, planning what resources they would need. Then, they built the catapults using an assortment of lolly sticks, elastic bands, fold-back clips, bottle tops and wooden spoons.
We will be testing our inventions next week to see which catapults propel pompoms the furthest.
