We were really proud of all the children in Year 4 during their Curriculum assembly this morning. The children sang beautifully and spoke with confidence about all their amazing learning in Year 4 so far!
History, Art and Design and Technology
They shared learning from our school trip to Verulamium Museum and the Hypercaust. They showed the mosaics and catapults that they created.
Geography
They spoke about their learning about Fairtrade and how important it is to care for our world.
PSHE
They showed art work about how we are all different, but part of a school community.
Science
We learnt about the water cycle.
Maths
We discovered different patterns in the times tables that we have been learning.
English
We acted out a poem that we have enjoyed learning about in class.
R.E.
We also shared a prayer that we had written as a Year group.
In the afternoon, we had our first session with the environmental tutor. She talked to us about the RSPB and led a session about bird watching. We enjoyed using binoculars to observe and identify birds in our school environment.
