Year 3 have had a short but sweet first week back after the Easter holidays.
In English, we’ve started our new book The Bear and the Piano. The children have made a great start, using conjunctions to contrast the bear’s peaceful forest home with the hustle and bustle of city life.
In maths, we’ve been exploring division by sharing into equal groups, using bar models to support our understanding.
To end the week, Year 3 were lucky to spend some time with Miss Sophia, planting strawberry bushes, creating signage for the plan beds and watering the garden. A lovely way to enjoy the sunshine and start our learning this term!
We’re looking forward to seeing their creativity, determination, and teamwork in action.
Have a lovely weekend! 🌞🌸
