On Tuesday Year 3 visited Celtic Harmony as a follow up to our learning about prehistory ranging from the Palaeolithic era to the Iron Age. We learnt about everyday life in prehistoric Britain from how clothing and food were produced to how people lived. The children had a great time grinding grain to make bread, ‘flint knapping’ with bars of soap and making a simple coiled thumb pot from clay. We had an excellent time and learnt many new facts whilst having fun at the same time!
