In line with Catholic Social Teaching of Stewardship of God’s Creation, the children made bird feeders using all-natural, low-sugar, multigrain cereal free from artificial colourings. Since June is fledgling season, we thought out bird feeders would be perfect for the young birds. Even though a few Cheerios were tasted along the way, there were still plenty left for the birds to enjoy! We also did a scavenger hunt for plants and trees growing on the school site. Everyone enjoyed themselves and learnt something new.
