Year 3 were fortunate to conclude their week by planting bulbs with our Environmental tutor, Miss Sophia. The children first shared their knowledge of the importance of trees, and then discussed the different seasons and which were best for planting bulbs and when we might see them flower.
Year 3 have planted a row of daffodils in front of the fruit tree orchard on the Upper Site, on the strip of grass by the entrance gate. We look forward to seeing the yellow and white colours erupt at the end of Winter/early Spring!
