This week in Science, Year 3 explored friction – the force that slows down moving objects. Just like real scientists, we started by asking a question: Which materials create the most friction? After making our predictions, we tested them by rolling toy cars down ramps covered in different surfaces. It was an exciting lesson and we discovered that the rougher the material, the more friction it creates!
