On Tuesday 19th September, Year 3 travelled back in time to visit Celtic Harmony camp where they experienced life in the prehistoric period from the Stone Age to the Iron Age.
Inside the Chieftain’s roundhouse, our guide Brynmor showed us how to start a fire using a bow drill.
Then the children had the opportunity to learn many prehistoric skills such as den-building, hunting, gathering food, making flint tools and Stone Age cooking.
We learnt a lot about prehistoric life and had a fantastic day!
