Science – growing
We have been watching the seedlings growing that we planted a few weeks ago. We also planted some cress on cotton wool to see if they will grow without soil. We learnt about the lifecycle of plants and hopefully we will see our cress seeds germinate.
English
We worked as groups to write noun phrases about the Great Fire of London. We tried to find the most appropriate words and then we presented our ideas to the rest of the class.
The Daily Mile
The children participated in the daily mile today. They had to complete 12 laps of the “track” in the playground but some did many more.
