This week has been lovely and sunny and the children have been able to take advantage of it, going outside to plant seeds as part of our science topic on plants. Some of the sunflower seeds we planted last week have started to grow already.
In relation to our science topic, the children have been busy making flowers for our display. We made sunflowers, hyacinths and daffodils.
In PE this week the children have been using the apparatus and have been practising balancing and jumping.
In music the children have been using instruments to learn about rhythm. They have learnt the song ‘London’s Burning’ and accompanied the singing with the use of their instruments.
