Year 2 had such an exciting trip to London Yesterday. First they travelled by coach to The Royal Mews. While 2C visited the Mews, 2D went to the front of Buckingham Palace. We walked into St James Park and over to The Mall. Here we were lucky enough to see the Changing of the Guard.
In the afternoon the other class went to visit the Royal Mews to see the golden carriage used in the Queen’s coronation. Meanwhile 2C walked through St James Park to horse guard’s parade where we saw the Guards on horseback standing watch over the entrance to The Mall. One even felt we got a bit too close and shouted at us!
