Year 2, what a busy week we have had!
In English, we have been busy learning about coordinating conjunctions (and, or, but) and describing Paddington station. You had to think carefully about well-chosen adjectives and using your sentences in your setting description piece of writing today. Well done!
In maths, we are reviewing numbers to 20 by using addition where we ‘think 10’, addition questions which need to be compared with > < = and to regroup a number in multiple ways be (e.g. 7 + 8 = 6 + 9).
You all did superbly in Science and identifying what an animal needs to survive.
Perhaps your families can test you on your new geography knowledge: Can you remember the four countries of the United Kingdom and where they are? Can you find the United Kingdom on a world map? Can you remember the capital city of England and place it on a map?
Well done on a very busy week.
