On Monday the children started off with our Anti Bullying week wearing their odd socks followed by an Assembly with Mrs Bates. In PSHE the children discussed different scenarios and acted them out in assembly to show everyone the impact of bullying and how it makes others feel.
In English the children have been learning to write expanded noun phrases. They practiced in pairs and then went on to use them in their writing. Our computing lesson looked at algorithms and the children enjoyed playing google draw as the computer used algorithms to guess the image they were drawing. This week in maths the children played a card game called ‘Tens Down’ in which they used their team skills to create number bonds to 10 and 100.
On Wednesday in RE we received a special visit from Rabbi Zvi. He taught us about Judaism and how Jewish people celebrate Shabbat. Rabbi Zvi set the table for Shabbat and the children enjoyed some challah bread together.
Well done to all the children that completed home learning about Saints. We have learned so many interesting facts about our wonderful saints.
