We have had a very busy last week of term. We have been continuing to learn about Hong Kong and finished off our masks for the Chinese New Year race.
We found out that in Hong Kong, Chinese New Year is a very important celebration. People mark the occasion with modern fun and ancient customs.
In class, we made our own masks to mark the occasion.
Also this week, Lent has begun with the celebrations of shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday.
We celebrated Shrove Tuesday with pancakes whilst reenacting the last supper. The next day we shared our Lenten promises in Mass for Ash Wednesday.
Lastly, lots of children in Year 2 were able to showcase their talents in our Express yourself show as well as giving £1 to charity.
