The children took part in the Stations of the Cross at school on Thursday, supported by our Pupil Chaplaincy team on the Upper Site.
This provided them with an opportunity to engage with the story of Jesus’ passion in a meaningful way.
Through simplified language, visual aids, and interactive activities, the children took time to reflect on themes of sacrifice, love, and hope.
By participating in the Stations of the Cross the children learnt about the significance of Jesus’ journey, gaining a deeper understanding and the important message of His resurrection.
This experience helped all the children have a deeper connection with their faith and encouraged empathy and emotional development.
Next week we will continue with the Easter Story in class, as well as joining in with further reflections on the Upper Site.
