The children had so much fun today going on a Mathematical Easter Egg Hunt!
The children paired-up with a clipboard and pen and hunted for numbers from 1-100.
It was so egg-exciting!!! Bazille and Janelle from Elm class were the winners, finding all 100 Easter Egg numbers.
This Easter activity brought our Lent journey to an end.
The children enjoyed the Year 5 Passion Play earlier this week, it really brought the message of Easter to life for the children.
We looked at signs and symbols of Easter, tasted Hot Cross Buns, written acrostic Easter poetry and have all gone home with a chocolate lolly from all the staff in Year 1.
We wish all our families a very happy and peaceful Easter holidays and we look forward to starting the Summer Term on Monday 15th April at 8.45am.
