Another happy week learning and exploring our new topics.
The children have continued to create number sentences in Maths, this time having to make number sentences that equalled each other.
The children used balance scales to support their knowledge of number. We all realised that knowing our number bonds really helped us with this task.
In English, the children have started to learn about past tense, ready for writing a Newspaper article next week.
We have continued to learn about the artist, Andy Goldsworthy.
The children looked at some of the art work he has created using stones and pebbles.
They designed their own interpretations and then created them using stones and pebbles. I think you will agree they are very impressive!
The children were very respectful in our Remembrance Assembly this morning and our one minute silence.
Thank you to all those families that supported the Poppy Appeal.
Remember that on Monday the children can wear odd socks for Anti-Bullying Week.
