This week is Anti-Bullying Week – The theme this year is ‘Choose Respect’.
The children came to school on Tuesday wearing odd socks. This celebrated that we are all different and that we should respect our differences and choices.
In one of our P.S.H.E. lessons, we created a gingerbread person and then designed an alternative t-shirt to show diversity.
Some of the things that were discussed: we have different coloured hair; my eyes are the same colour as my talk-partner; we go to a different church; we have the same shoes; I like football, but you like skipping, etc.
