This week in RE, we learnt about Jesus’ ascension into heaven. We studied the Scripture from the Bible and used it as a basis for a news report. We worked in groups to act out a news report on the ascension and interviewed the apostles who witnessed the event. We also considered the emotions they may have felt at that moment, such as shock, amazement and confusion.
