What an exciting start we’ve had in Reception this week. Our little adventurers have jumped headfirst into their school journey, and it’s been a whirlwind of fun, discovery, and learning.
A Tasty Start
Our first week kicked off with a buzz of excitement as the children made their way to the dining room to collect their lunches. They eagerly approached the hatch and made their choices clearly and sensible. . It’s clear that mealtimes are going to be a highlight of the day!
Creative Classroom Fun
Back in the classroom, creativity was in full swing! The children have been busy painting vibrant pictures that are now proudly displayed on the walls, showcasing their imaginative flair. They’ve also enjoyed sticking and gluing, crafting wonderful creations that highlight their budding artistic talents. The children have also spent time learning some new counting songs!
Playground Adventures
When it comes to outdoor play, the children enjoyed the climbing frame and bikes today. The new PE toys have also been a hit, encouraging coordination and teamwork while providing endless entertainment. It’s fantastic to see the children’s energy and enthusiasm as they discover new ways to play and move.
Looking Ahead
As we wrap up our first week, we’re thrilled with how well the children have settled in and how much they’ve already embraced their new school environment. We’re looking forward to many more weeks of exploration, learning, and fun.
