It was lovely to welcome the children back this week and hear all of their exciting news about the holidays.
We have already been busy working hard on our writing and finding out about new places in Geography. In Geography this term, we are going to be finding out about Hong Kong. This week we looked at where it was and how we could get there. We looked at the countries and continents we would fly over to reach Hong Kong.

In math’s we have been exploring money. We have been practicing adding items, receiving change and word problems. On Friday we put all our work to practice by playing ‘shops’. The children loved working as the shopkeeper and the customers buying and selling lots of different objects around the classroom.
