Year 2 have had a very busy first week back and it was lovely to see all their smiling faces! We had our very first outdoor learning session. The children have been planting seeds and we will watch them carefully to see how they grow. They very much enjoyed their mug of hot chocolate and a well earned biscuit!
In Science our new topic is called ‘We are gardeners’. All of the children went outside to explore what plants they could find outside. We were amazed by their knowledge and how they were able to identify many different plants.
In English the children have been writing newspaper reports on the Great Fire of London and have been continuing with making their Tudor houses.
