Year 1 have made an excellent start to the new school year. They have familiarised themselves with their new classroom and have quickly learnt to find all the new resources both inside and out. It has been great to see the children playing so well with their friends once again after the long summer break.
They have spent time learning the new mission statement and the values of the school. They worked in small groups to practise the actions that go with each value to help us all remember them.
On Wednesday this week, we had a small celebration to mark the occasion of Our Lady’s birthday. We even had cake!
Gradually, our working walls are starting to fill up with all our new learning.
