As we finish our third week of the autumn term here at St Alban and St Stephen, it’s amazing to think about how much we’ve accomplished. This week, we focused on English grammar and creative writing. The children worked hard on sentence structure, punctuation, and making their writing even more exciting with adjectives. It was fantastic to see their imaginations come to life on the page!
We’ve also had some great discussions and activities centred around living a healthy lifestyle. From making healthy food choices to staying active, everyone learned more about how to keep their bodies and minds happy and strong.
Our geography lessons took us on a virtual tour of London, where we explored famous landmarks like the Tower of London, Big Ben, and the London Eye. The children loved learning about the history and stories behind these iconic places.
In PE, the class had loads of fun creating their own games. They used their creativity and teamwork skills to design exciting new challenges to play with their friends. It’s been a truly busy and fun-filled week! Well done, Year 2!
