Last week, our Pupil Chaplaincy Team and Squabble Squashers attended a beautiful Advent Carol Service at Westminster Cathedral in aid of the Catholic Children’s Society. Telling the story of the Nativity was an angel called Penelope. During the different Christmas carols, animals came down the aisle in the middle of the cathedral including a goat and Clover the donkey! Bishop Paul McAleenan gave the homily and he reminded us of the importance of helping others in need, as the Catholic Children’s Society do every day. We said hello to Bishop Paul after the service, and he remembered visiting us for our special 90 years anniversary Mass. We also had a photograph with Clover the donkey!
Attending the carol service was an amazing experience for us and the teachers.
