Welcome back! We hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year.

This week, Year 5 had the opportunity to take part in an educational race equality and anti racism workshop. We learnt about what microaggression is and how to spot if that is happening to someone. We also spoke about the importance of how we should treat everyone with respect, strive to address inequality and challenge unfairness, enthusiastically creating slogans and freeze-framing situations.

   

We also enjoyed learning to use sound on Scratch, using coding blocks to create music. We even recorded our own sounds to include in our compositions.
