This week Year 6 have been working on their teamwork skills and I wanted to share with you these fantastic action shots from PE. In small groups the children practised passing the ball in a variety of ways. They had to think carefully about being in position for their teammates and making sure that the other person was ready to receive the pass.
In maths, the children had the opportunity to work in pairs playing a maths games based on negative numbers and you can see here how engaged they were!
We appreciated how many parents attended our welcome meeting this week and the presentation has now been sent out to all families. However, if you have any questions please ask to speak to either Mr Hegarty or myself, Mrs Adams, at the end of the day. We are always happy to help.
Next week sees the children set off for their residential to the Isle of Wight. We are keeping our fingers crossed for good weather and the team will do their best to share photos when time allows. Please be patient as the days are very full for both children and adults!
Have a wonderful weekend and happy packing!
