As part of our topic on light in science, the children had great fun making shadow puppets . We set up an investigation to find out which material made the best shadow puppet. We used card, clear plastic, greaseproof paper and white paper and made shadow puppets from these. The best material was card because it blocked the most light and was opaque. The worst was clear plastic because it was transparent and didn’t block any light. We had so fun that we created our own puppet show making our own characters.
