Year 5 Reconciliation
Year 5 were visited by Fathers Michael and John who led Year 5’s Reconciliation. The children sat beautifully and were respectful throughout this important Sacrament.
Science Week
Year 5 have had an exciting Science Week!
On Wednesday, we watched an exciting Mad Science Assembly and got to see ‘fireworks’!
On Friday, Year 5 were fortunate to have a parent speaker – Mrs Gordon – join us to talk about bridges and set the children a challenge to work as a team to make a sturdy bridge. The children had a fantastic time testing out different options – thank you to Mrs Gordon for volunteering her time to teach us.
Skip 2BFit
On Thursday Year 5 got to put their skipping skills to the test and skipped twice for 2 minutes each time, with the aim of beating their score. They were rewarded for their hard work with a box of blueberries afterwards! Berry nice.
Passion Play Practice
Year 5 have been hard at work fine-tuning their performance read for the final week of term. All the staff have been very impressed by how well the children have sat during rehearsals, and taken on board the feedback given about their performance. The signing also sounds fantastic, and we are looking forward to performing to parents on Tuesday 26th March.
Have a lovely weekend!
