This week, Year 5 have participated in the prayer initiative “One Million Children Praying the Rosary”, including saying The Apostles Creed, Our Father, Hail Mary, The Glory Be To The Father and The Fatima Prayer. Some of us even brought in our own rosaries from home.
We have also practised working as a team in PSHE, when we collaborated to try to build the tallest tower out of straws.
In Computing, we enjoyed creating posters about Ancient Greek gods and goddesses linked to our English and History topics. We learned about copyright, fair use and public domain to ensure we used appropriate images.
