This week, Year 4 have successfully created engaging presentations answering our History Big Question – How did the Romans change St Albans? Using learning from our trip to Verulamium Museum, the Roman Theatre and the hypocaust, together with our History lessons, we used Google Slides to write informative and attractive presentations.
In RE, we considered the Care of Creation, as part of our Catholic Social teaching. We designed fantastic posters to encourage everyone in our school to be better stewards of creation.
In Maths we have been learning how to identify missing numbers in column method subtractions. We picked 8 digit cards, calculated the answer then turned 3 cards over. Our partners then had to work out the missing numbers. We had fun while becoming confident, even when regrouping was involved.
