Today Year 3 and Year 4 had a special assembly to mark Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday. We learnt about the special significance of these days and thought about the many soldiers and civilians who have died in wars past and present. We held a minute silence as an act of respect to the fallen.
The children created artwork on the theme of ‘Remembrance‘ including making a wreath of poppies and using oil pastels to create pictures featuring poppies.
