This week in our bible stories lesson, we learnt about the miracle of ‘Jesus Raising Lazarus From The Dead’. The children have been fascinated to learn about the miracles of Jesus and they were eager to listen to this new one. During CIL, some children were inspired to use their imagination and re-enact the moment Jesus raised his friend Lazarus from the dead.
Some children took their imagination to the creative area, where they used junk modelling to create the tomb of which Lazarus was laid to rest in. This inspired a small world recreation using our counting animals, to imagine the disciples gathering around to watch Jesus perform his miracle.
In other news, we have had the most beautiful weather this week! On Friday, we were lucky enough to enjoy this weather with Mrs Flatt outside in our garden area. We each had our own instrument and learnt how to play along – changing tempo, pitch, rhythm and pulse. Previously we created our own minibeast song with actions. This week, we added sounds to match how they would sound when they are travelling about.
