This week, the children were very excited to go on their first school trip in Reception! We all walked sensibly up to St Paul’s Church, to take part in two exciting activities. First, we went on an interactive nativity trail, which included tasting bread at Mary’s house🥖, seeing Joseph’s workshop and tools⚒️, looking through a telescope to find the star🌟, warming up by the shepherd’s fire🔥, listening to the angels singing 🎶, searching for the baby in a stable🤱🏾
We then discussed how Christians prepare for Christmas? Afterwards, the children enjoyed a card-making craft activity.
