We have moved onto an exciting phase in our Nursery where we are developing our curriculum more tailored to the children’s interests than ever before. This has led to lots of exciting work being completed this week! We have been looking at firefighters and what an important job they do. The children have then been making the most of the warm days at the beginning of the week and working on their target practice with water pistols. We also had a go at making houses out of junk modelling, adding collage flames and using the water pistols to put out the fire!
We have been reading the Hungry Caterpillar this week and getting ready for the caterpillars arriving soon. The children have been re-enacting the story and they know it so well!
For Earth Day we practised our Green Day song and a group of children decided they wanted to go on litter pick so we went around the school, making sure it was litter-free to stop the animals from eating it and getting poorly tummies!
