This week, Year 3 have been exploring the world of poetry! We have learnt about different styles and discovered well-known poets, including Michael Rosen and Windrush poet James Berry. Inspired by Berry’s poem One, the children wrote their own poems celebrating what makes them unique. We also worked together to create class poems that reflect our shared personality and character.
