We made Pizza’s as part of our science topic ‘Little MasterChef’s’. First we had to make the dough for the base of the pizza. . While we waited for the dough to rise we created our healthy pizza and explained our choices. We decided cheese was a good option as a topping as it contains dairy which helps to build strong bones and teeth. We looked at how ham and pepperoni is a good source of protein which helps to grow and build muscles. We all chose different types of vegetables as they provide us with different types of vitamins and minerals. When we completed our designs the dough was ready to roll out and add our toppings. We observed the changes in our pizza before and after it was cooked in the oven. They were delicious!!
