We had lots of fun in Nursery this week. We are continuing or topic this week ‘Off on an Adventure’. We spent a lot of time outside in the lovely weather. The children played with the parachute for their PE lesson. They also enjoyed going off on an adventure this week in the car. There was road works on the way so they had a few stops. The car also broke down and they needed a mechanic to come and fix it. They were very lucky that a policeman was there to assist them as well as a fireman and a doctor. Everybody was helping out. It was a very eventful adventure!
This week we were also learning a new sound ‘t’. The children went on a phonics hunt outside and thought of lots of words starting with the ‘t’ sound. They also practiced writing the letter ‘t’ in glitter and on whiteboards.
The children enjoyed a book fair on Friday. We met our wonderful new librarian Mrs Keaty who very kindly showed us lots of lovely books. The children had a great time looking at lots of different books.
