🎉SATs is over! 🎉
Year 6’s hard work throughout their school years has paid off, and they have sat their last SATs test this morning! Our staff would like to praise the valiant efforts of Year 6 for completing their tests this week, and share how proud we all are of them. We hope they get to spend some relaxing time with family and friends this weekend in order to refresh themselves.
Well done Year 6! 😀👍
SATs Breakfast
Although the SATs may not have been a hit with everyone, the SATs breakfasts certainly were! Our cook, Ms LePratti, has done a fantastic job putting on a veritable feast for the children. Those who chose to come were treated to a variety of combinations of foods each day including pizza bread, bacon baps, sausages, sausage rolls, eggs, hash browns, beans, toast, cereal, fruit cups and apple or orange juice! We were also all very impressed with how tidy the children left the cafeteria afterwards, before they zoomed outside to enjoy some much-loved Astro time.
We would like to thank Ms LePratti for coming in early to prepare and cook all the food, and all the staff involved in organising, setting up and clearing away the dining room, including Mrs Smith, Mrs Earl, Mrs Concialdi and Mrs Bates.
On Friday, the children also had the fantastic opportunity of planting some sunflower seeds in pots to take home. They also planted a variety of vegetables in the raised beds, which they will observe growing throughout Spring ready to be harvested in Summer!
We hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
